Will Punxsutawney Phil see his shadow on February 2nd ?? Follow Pittsburgh TV weatherman, Phil Connors, around the town of Woodstock, IL, (which was the setting for Groundhog Day, the 1992 blockbuster movie), as he relives Groundhog Day over and over again.
I have recreated some of the better known scenes in Woodstock from the movie in 8"x 8" oil paintings.

In remembrance of 9/11 and all who lost their lives that day, I have created two (2) small paintings of eagles carrying United States flags.

www.http://bonnielynnsart.com/OceanColorsSmallPaintings.htmlIn 1992, the comedy movie, GROUNDHOG DAY, with actor Bill Murray, was filmed in the little historic burg of Woodstock, ILL.
I recently visited Woodstock and took many photos of the several "landmarks" from the movie which I have made into 8 small oil paintings.
Visit my Small Paintings page on my website (Small Paintings ) to purchase any or all of these paintings.

Pages from my Sketchbook
I have finally decided to get back to trying to do a sketch a day, something I used to do in another life.
Here was last night's page of objects that were near my chair:

Beach Mural
This was a beach mural I did for a gentleman in the next town.
The wall space was 3'x17'.......not your usual kind of wall for a mural. I labored over this design for about 2 weeks before settling on how I would paint it. He had certain elements that he wanted included, so I had to consider those also.
My photos of the mural are not very clear, but you can get the gist of it.
